GAZA, August 23, 2025 (WAFA) – Two sibling children were killed on Saturday evening after an Israeli airstrike targeted a group of civilians near Hamza Mosque in Jabalia Al-Nazla, in the northern Gaza Strip.

Several others were injured in separate Israeli artillery attacks on the Al-Sudaniya area in the northwest of the Gaza Strip, as well as in central and southern parts of Khan Younis in the south.

In Gaza City, Israeli warplanes destroyed the home of the Al-Qayed family in the Abu Sharia area of the Al-Sabra neighborhood, adding to the extensive damage in the southern part of the city.

According to medical sources, at least 41 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since the early morning hours of Saturday.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 62,622 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 157,673 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
