Israeli authorities demolish homes and facilities near Naqab

NAQAB, August 18, 2025, WAFA- Israeli authorities demolished homes belonging to the Abu Jadoua family and facilities belonging to the Nasayra family in the unrecognized village of Al-Sir, on the outskirts of the Bedouin town of Shaqib al-Salam in the Naqab region of the 1948 territories, on Monday morning.

This demolition comes amid the failure to expand the structural maps of Arab towns for more than three years, and the increasing rate of demolitions, particularly in the Naqab region, which has increased by 400% over the past year, 2024, according to official data.

The Israeli authorities continue to demolish homes, shops, and industrial workshops in Arab towns under the pretext of lacking permits, as happened in Rahat, Tuba, Zanghariya, Jdeidet Makr, Yarka, Zarzir, Acre, Nazareth, Umm al-Fahm, Shefa Amr, Sakhnin, Ein Mahel, Jaffa, Kafr Qasim, Qalansawe, Kafr Yasif, Arara, Lod, Hurfeish, Kafr Qara, and Arab towns in the Negev region, among others.
