GAZA, August 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Several civilians, including two aid seekers, were killed this evening by Israeli occupation gunfire in the northern Gaza Strip.

A medical source confirmed that two civilians were killed and several others injured after Israeli forces opened fire on people seeking aid in the Zikim area, northwest of the Gaza Strip.

In a separate attack, a young man was killed when Israeli warplanes bombed the al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Medical sources in Gaza hospitals reported that since dawn today, 42 civilians, including 22 aid seekers, have been killed by Israeli occupation fire across various areas of the Gaza Strip.
