GAZA, August 16, 2025 (WAFA) – An Israeli strike on Saturday evening targeted a tent housing displaced persons in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip and claimed the lives of two Palestinian civilians, according to medical sources.

They said that a child and a woman were killed and 15 others were injured in an Israeli drone strike on a tent sheltering displaced persons near the outskirts of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Several causalities were reported when Israeli fighter jets struck a tent housing displaced persons in the Sheikh Ajlin neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.

According to sources,  nearly 25 people have been killed from Israeli machine gunfire in multiple areas of the Gaza Strip since dawn today.
