GAZA, August 15, 2025 (WAFA) – Nine Palestinians, including six aid seekers, were killed in deadly Israeli assaults northwest of the Gaza Strip, according to WAFA correspondent.
Citing medical sources at Al-Shifaa Medical Complex, he said that the bodies of six slain Palestinians who were waiting to receive aid and other casualties were admitted to the hospital after the Israeli army targeted aid seekers.
Meanwhile, an Israeli airstrike targeted an apartment near Imam Al-Shafi'i Mosque in Al-Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, claiming the life of a female child and resulting in seven casualties.
Another airstrike targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the vicinity of the outpatient clinic of the Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, resulting in fatalities and casualties.
Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip, killing 10,251 and injuring 42,865.
In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 54 slain Palestinians, including four retrieved from the rubble, and 831 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals.
Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 61,776 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 154,906 others.
Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.
The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
