JORDAN VALLEY, August 10, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonists continued on Sunday fencing off new lands near Palestinian tents in al-Farisiya in the northern Jordan Valley.

Local sources said that colonists placed new iron signs and barbed wire near Palestinian tents in the al-Farisiya spring in the northern Jordan Valley.

For months, the area has witnessed the fencing of pastoral lands in stages, near Palestinian tents, closing hundreds of dunums to farmers.

It is noteworthy that colonists attempted to establish 15 new colonial outposts last July, predominantly agricultural and pastoral. Five of these outposts were located in the Hebron Governorate, two in each of Salfit, Bethlehem, Ramallah, and Jericho, one in Tubas, and another in Jenin.
