Eight Palestinian civilians killed, dozens injured from Israeli gunfire on crowds waiting for aid in Gaza

GAZA, August 4, 2025 (WAFA) – At least eight Palestinian civilians were killed and others injured on Monday afternoon after Israeli forces opned gunfire on a crowd of gatherings waiting for aid along Salah al-Din Street, south of the Wadi Gaza area in the central Gaza Strip.

In the southern Gaza Strip, a young man and a woman were killed, and 20 others were injured from Israeli gunfire near an aid center north of Rafah.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 60,839 Palestinians, the majority of whom were children and women, with nearly 149,588 reported wounded.

Hundreds of victims remain under the rubble of the targeted buildings and homes, on the streets, or in areas inaccessible by rescue crews due to ongoing bombardment and massive destruction.
