HEBRON, August 3, 2025 (WAFA) – A young Palestinian man was injured by live ammunition and others suffocated from tear gas inhalation on Sunday evening during confrontations with Israeli forces in the center of Hebron city, according to security sources.
Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the city center, firing live bullets, tear gas canisters, and stun grenades toward civilians and commercial shops, shooting and injuring a youth in the thigh, which necessitated his transfer to hospital.
Several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation and were treated at the scene.
Israeli forces also raided the center of Yatta town, south of Hebron; however, no confrontations or detentions were reported.
