18 Palestinians killed in Israeli military attacks across Gaza, including nine aid seekers

GAZA, August 3, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 18 Palestinians were killed, including 13 who were waiting for humanitarian aid, and several others injured on Sunday following shootings and airstrikes by Israeli occupation forces targeting various locations across the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that 13 civilians were shot and killed near the GHF aid distribution center north of Rafah. Additional casualties occurred when Israeli warplanes struck a school sheltering displaced people in Al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Younis, killing two and wounding others.

Meantime, four more Palestinians were killed in a separate Israeli strike targeting aid seekers near the so-called Netzarim corridor in central Gaza.

Moreover, three more Palestinians were killed and several injured in an Israeli attack on a gathering of residents in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, according to the same sources.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 60,430 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 148,722 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
