GAZA, August 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces killed 10 Palestinians on Friday in separate incidents across the southern Gaza Strip, including three people who were waiting for desperately needed humanitarian aid, according to local sources.
According to WAFA correspondent, three people were killed and more than 30 injured by Israeli forces near an aid distribution center in the Shakoush area, north of Rafah.
In addition, five civilians were killed and 20 others wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City. Another person was killed and others injured in shelling in the town of Qarara, north of Khan Younis.
Meantime, medical sources reported that since dawn, a total of 24 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces, including five who were seeking humanitarian aid amid the ongoing Israeli campaign on starvation against Gaza's population.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 60,239 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 146,894 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
