Gaza, July 31, 2025 (WAFA) – Medical sources said on Thursday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 60,239, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.
The same sources added that the death toll has risen to 146,894 since the start of the aggression, while a number of victims remain under the rubble, unable to be reached by ambulances and civil defense teams.
They indicated that 101 slain people and 625 wounded others were taken to hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours. The death toll and injuries since March 18, when the Israeli occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, has reached 9,071 and 34,853 wounded.
The sources indicated that the number of aid victims arriving at hospitals over the past 24 hours reached 81, along with 666 injuries, bringing the total number of livelihood victims arriving at hospitals to 1,320, and the total number of injuries to 8,818.
They noted that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, and that ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
