JERUSALEM, July 29, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation intelligence summoned the head of the Palestinian Bar Association, Fadi Abbas, on Tuesday morning.
The Jerusalem Governorate stated that Israeli intelligence interrogated him about his relation with the Palestinian Authority and his political affiliation with the Fatah movement. The intelligence informed him of the decision to ban the Palestinian Bar Association from working in Jerusalem.
It is worth noting that the Fatah list won the Palestinian Bar Association Council elections for the 2025-2028 electoral cycle on July 6, securing 8 out of 9 seats, after the votes were counted.
