Seven civilians killed in Israeli fire and airstrikes in southern Gaza

GAZA, July 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Seven Palestinian civilians were killed on Monday in Israeli gunfire and airstrikes targeting the cities of Rafah and Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondents reported that five aid seekers were killed and dozens of others were wounded by Israeli forces’ gunfire north of Rafah.

Additionally, two young men were killed by Israeli sniper fire near the Bani Suheila roundabout, east of Khan Yunis city.

Since dawn today, 41 civilians have been killed, including nine aid seekers, while dozens have been wounded due to the ongoing Israeli shelling of various areas across the Gaza Strip.

The ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 59,821 people, mostly children and women, and the wounding of 144,851 others.

This figure remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue teams due to the relentless shelling and massive amount of debris.
