JENIN, July 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces bulldozed agricultural lands belonging to residents of Khirbet Masoud, southwest of Jenin, in an apparent attempt to expand a nearby colonial outpost.
Saleh Amarneh, head of the village council in Zubda, explained that occupation bulldozers uprooted olive trees and razed agricultural lands owned by residents of Zubda and Khirbet Masoud this morning.
Amarneh explained that Israeli forces had marked targeted plots with orange signs in recent days, nothing that the lands are registered and documented with official ownership deeds.
He added that the bulldozing serves to expand the pastoral settlement outpost located on top of the mountain in Khirbet Masoud, which was established in 2019.
He noted that the colonists constantly assault Palestinian farmers, letting their livestock graze in agricultural fields and engaging in acts of vandalism and intimidation.
Khirbet Masoud falls under the jurisdiction of Zubda Village Council and consists of three residential communities: Iraq al-Dawar, Khirbet Faris, and Khirbet al-Qusur. Approximately 350 people live in the village.
The occupation forces are bulldozing areas adjacent to the colonial outpost on the mountain, seizing dozens of dunams of agricultural land there. This area extends from Qaffin to the Ya'bad Mountains south of Jenin.
