GAZA, July 23, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 31 Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded by the Israeli strikes and gunfire across several areas in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, according to medical sources.
Israeli fighter jets conducted an airstrike on a gathering point for displaced residents near a food distribution center in Wadi Gaza area in central Gaza, killing four people.
Meanwhile, in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, three Palestinians were killed and several others wounded following an airstrike on a group of civilians.
Moving to the southern city of Rafah, two people were killed and dozens injured by Israeli gunfire near the Shakoush aid center, north of the city.
Another Palestinian succumbed to injuries caused by an Israeli drone strike in the Umm Zohair area, southeast of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza. In a separate incident, Israeli forces shot and killed a man outside his home on Street 20 in Nuseirat refugee camp.
Since October 7, 2023, over 201,000 Palestinians have been killed or wounded, the majority of them women and children. More than 9,000 people remain missing, and hundreds of thousands have been forcibly displaced.
