BETHLEHEM, July 20, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Sunday issued demolition orders against seven homes in the town of al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, according to security sources.
Sources told WAFA that Israeli soldiers stormed the Umm Rokba area and handed demolition notices against seven houses belonging to Palestinian residents.
The Umm Rokba area has been increasingly targeted by Israeli colonial expansion. It is surrounded by several illegal colonies, most notably Efrat and Elazar.
The area has become a focal point for the growth of the settlement bloc known as “Gush Etzion.”
