GAZA, July 19, 2025 (WAFA) — At least 11 Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Saturday following an Israeli drone strike targeting a residential apartment in the southern part of Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
Local sources reported that an Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle bombed the apartment, resulting in the killing of 11 civilians, including a child and an infant. The wounded were transported to Al-Awda Hospital in Al-Nuseirat for treatment.
Medical sources confirmed that 70 Palestinians have been killed since dawn on Saturday, including 36 people who were seeking humanitarian aid, as Israeli airstrikes continue to hit various areas across the Gaza Strip.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 58,573 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 139,607 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
