JERUSALEM, July 16, 2025 (WAFA) – The Israeli Central Court issued a ruling rejecting the appeal submitted by the Jerusalemite Al-Basha family, which sought to overturn the decision to evict them from their historic home in the Old City of Jerusalem.
The home, built before 1930, consists of three floors and directly overlooks Al-Aqsa Mosque. It occupies a strategic location connecting key streets in the Old City and is situated near the holy mosque.
The Israeli court had previously issued an eviction order on March 4th, mandating the family to vacate the property located on Al-Wad Street. The move is part of a broader colonial plan aimed at Judaizing the area.
