HEBRON, July 15, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday detained two Palestinians and assaulted others in the southern occupied West Bank city of Hebron, according to local sources.
They said that the gun-toting soldiers stormed a factory belonging to the al-Jamal family in the southern part of the city, detained a family member along with his nephew, and assaulted several workers inside the factory, inflicting cuts and bruises across their bodies.
They added that four of the casualties were evacuated by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) to a hospital.
The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.
Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
