JENIN, July 14, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Monday demolished a Palestinian home under construction in the village of Jalboun, east of Jenin, according to a local official.
Ibrahim Abu al-Rub, head of the Jalboun village council, told WAFA that Israeli forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed the village and tore down a 150-square-meter house belonging to local resident Hassan Asaad Abu al-Rub.
He added that Israeli authorities had previously issued a stop-work order for the house several months ago, citing its location near a section of the separation and annexation wall built on village land.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israel demolished 588 Palestinian structures in the first half of this year, impacting at least 843 individuals, including 411 children. In the same period, 556 demolition orders were issued—322 of which targeted inhabited homes.
