RAMALLAH, July 14, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Monday seized an under-construction residential building in the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, turning it into a military outpost and raising the Israeli flag atop the structure, according to local security sources.
The move comes amid a broader pattern of escalating military and colonist activity across villages in Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, which have seen repeated incursions, attacks on residents and their property, and the destruction of agricultural land.
Four days ago, dozens of armed colonists attacked local residents in the town of Sinjil, killing two young men and injuring at least ten others during violent raids on Sinjil, al-Mazra’a ash-Sharqiya, ‘Abwein, and Jaljiliya — all in northern Ramallah.
Roughly three weeks ago, three more Palestinians were shot dead by colonists in a brutal attack on the village of Kafr Malik.
