Occupation continues demolition of homes in Jenin refugee camp

JENIN, June 24, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation bulldozers continued today, Tuesday, the demolition of homes inside the Jenin refugee camp.

Local sources reported that Israeli bulldozers demolished several homes in the camp as part of an ongoing demolition plan, which includes the destruction of 95 homes across various neighborhoods, in addition to those previously demolished.

On June 9, 2025, the Israeli army announced its plan to demolish 95 homes in the camp. This followed an earlier announcement made three months prior, concerning the demolition of 66 buildings within the camp.

According to the Jenin Municipality, once the current round of demolitions is completed, Israeli forces will have destroyed approximately one-third of all homes in the Jenin refugee camp.

The municipality estimates that since the start of the assault on Jenin city and its camp on January 21, a total of 600 homes have been completely demolished, in addition to those newly announced.
