Approximately 20 Palestinians killed, dozens injured as Israel opens fire on aid seekers in northern Rafah

GAZA, June 24, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 20 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured, including several critically, after Israeli forces opened fire on civilians waiting for humanitarian aid near a distribution point in northwest Rafah, southern Gaza.

The latest massacre brings today's death toll in Gaza to 70, including 50 victims from aid lines, as Israel’s aggression on Gaza continues unabated.

According to medical sources, since the establishment of aid centers and distribution points  late last month, over 500 Palestinians have been killed, and more than 3,500 others injured.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s aggression on Gaza has killed at least 55,998 Palestinians, the majority of them women and children, and injured over 131,559 others. Thousands remain trapped under rubble or in areas inaccessible to rescue teams due to ongoing bombardment.
