Two Palestinians injured in assault by Israeli forces north of Tulkarm

TULKARM, June 22, 2025 (WAFA) – A teenager and a young man were injured on Saturday evening after being assaulted by Israeli occupation soldiers in the town of Attil, located north of Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources told WAFA that Israeli forces beat 17-year-old Laith Tamam during a raid on his father's home in the Jabal al-Masriyyeh neighborhood. In a separate incident, 24-year-old Qusai Dmeiri was severely beaten by soldiers while driving his vehicle in the town.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that its teams in Tulkarm responded to the two injuries resulting from the assault and transferred the victims to a nearby hospital for treatment.

This incident comes amid continued Israeli military activity in Attil for the second consecutive day. According to local reports, Israeli forces raided multiple homes across different neighborhoods, causing extensive property damage and instilling fear among residents.

Several homes were seized and turned into military outposts after their occupants were forced to evacuate.
