GAZA, June 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Saturday in Israeli airstrikes targeting displaced civilians in southern Gaza, according to local sources.
An Israeli drone strike hit a tent sheltering displaced members of the Shurrab family in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, resulting in the killing of three people. The tent was located in an area previously designated as a "safe zone" for civilians fleeing the ongoing Israeli aggression.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces bombed a home belonging to the Ziyara family near the Al-Sanafour junction in Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The attack left several civilians injured, though the exact number and severity of injuries remain unclear.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 55,908 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 131,138 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
