TULKAREM, June 20, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man and woman sustained injuries this evening after being physically assaulted by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Bal’a, east of Tulkarem, as part of the ongoing military aggression on the area since early Friday morning.
According to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Tulkarem, its medical teams provided treatment to a 27-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man who were beaten by Israeli soldiers. Both were subsequently transferred to the hospital for further medical care.
Israeli forces continue their large-scale onslaught on villages and towns in the northern and eastern parts of the Tulkarem Governorate, with a particular focus on Bal’a, Attil, Deir al-Ghusun, and Zeita. The ongoing military operation includes storming homes, vandalizing their contents, and converting several residences into military outposts. Troops have also sealed off entrances to these areas and blocked several sections of internal roads with earth mounds.
