NABLUS, June 19, 2025 (WAFA) – Two Palestinian citizens were injured by Israeli gunfire on Thursday evening during an Israeli military raid on the town of Aqraba, located south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
According to Yousef Deiriyeh, a paramedic with the Aqraba municipality, the two people were shot after Israeli forces opened fire on a vehicle they were traveling in. Their injuries were described as minor.
Following the raid, confrontations broke out between local residents and Israeli occupation soldiers. During the confrontations, Israeli forces fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at residents, resulting in several people suffering from tear gas inhalation.
