Occupation forces continue raid on Nablus-area refugee camp

NABLUS, June 18, 2025 (WAFA) - Since dawn on Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces have continued their raids on Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus.

Imad Zaki, head of the Popular Services Committee in the camp, told WAFA that the occupation forces forced approximately 14 families to evacuate their homes for 48 hours, turning them into military barracks and interrogation centers.

He explained that occupation forces are deployed throughout the camp's neighborhoods and alleys, raiding homes, detaining and interrogating young men, and preventing entry and exit from the camp.

Zaki pointed out that the occupation forces are still preventing humanitarian cases from leaving the camp, stressing that coordination is underway with the Palestinian Liaison Office to allow 25 kidney and cancer patients to leave the camp in ambulances for treatment.
