JENIN, June 18, 2025 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces continue their raids on the town of Jaba', south of Jenin, for the second consecutive day.
Jaba' Mayor Mohammad Baddad told WAFA that the occupation troops forcibly displaced 35 families and turned their homes into military barracks.
He added that occupation soldiers stationed in the western neighborhood of the town raided, searched, and ransacked homes.
He pointed out that the number of arrests in the town is large, but it is impossible to quantify them given the ongoing aggression.
Baddad also noted that citizens have been detained for hours and then released. He confirmed that occupation soldiers are sending reinforcements to the Tarsala area and are heavily deployed there. He also noted the presence of a large number of Israeli military vehicles and armored vehicles in the town.
He said that the occupation forces have placed earth mounds on the Jenin-Nablus road from the Jaba' direction, obstructing the movement of vehicles and civilians.
