NABLUS, June 15, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained at least 15 Palestinians during a series of overnight raids across the occupied West Bank, according to local and Palestinian security sources.
In the northern province of Nablus, seven Palestinians were detained following early morning incursions into several neighborhoods. Military vehicles broke into the city before dawn, with troops raiding a residential building in the Rafidia neighborhood and detaining a young man shortly after detaining his father from a separate location in eastern Nablus.
Forces also stormed the Al-Masaken Al-Sha'biya area and the Askar Al-Jadid refugee camp to the east, where several homes and a commercial shop were searched. Eyewitnesses reported widespread damage to property during the operations.
In the town of Qaffin, north of Tulkarm, four people were detained after Israeli forces raided and searched their homes. Local sources said the troops conducted door-to-door searches before detaining the residents.
In the Bethlehem district, four more people were detained from the village of Al-Asakra, east of the city. Troops stormed the area, searched multiple homes, and detained residents. In the town of Al-Khader to the south, Israeli forces also raided several homes and reportedly assaulted a number of residents during the searches.
Almost on a daily basis, Israeli occupation forces carry out raids targeting populated Palestinian communities for detentions or searches. The practice, mostly carried out at nighttime, has become a routine under Israeli military regime.
