Israeli undercover forces injure Palestinian man, launch raids and detentions in Jenin’s Qabatiya

JENIN, June 14, 2025 (WAFA) – A young Palestinian man was shot and injured on Saturday during a raid by Israeli undercover forces in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.

Local sources reported that the undercover unit stormed the town and surrounded a home in the al-Jalama neighborhood. Shortly after, large reinforcements from the Israeli army were deployed from the Dotan military checkpoint, accompanied by surveillance drones flying overhead.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said its crews treated a young man who sustained a gunshot wound to the hand during the incursion.

Israeli forces carried out a large-scale arrest campaign, particularly in the town’s western neighborhood, raiding and ransacking multiple homes. Soldiers also fired numerous stun grenades in residential areas.

Earlier in the morning, Israeli forces raided the town of al-Silah al-Harithiya, breaking into several homes and destroying their contents, although no arrests were reported.

The Israeli military has escalated its operations in the Jenin governorate for over 145 consecutive days.
