GAZA, June 13, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation airstrikes Friday morning targeted various locations across the Gaza Strip, causing numerous casualties and fatalities.
Emergency response teams faced severe difficulties due to the complete shutdown of the internet and fixed communication services following Israeli attacks on the telecommunications infrastructure.
Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes struck a group of civilians south of Deir al-Balah, resulting in the killing and wounding of several civilians. Israeli aircraft also targeted a residential home in Camp 2, south of Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Strip.
Additionally, Israeli drones targeted a group of civilians at the Sanfour junction, east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City, resulting in further casualties.
The occupation forces also shelled the Hamad Residential City in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, alongside heavy gunfire.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, as the occupying power, has waged a genocidal war on Gaza involving killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international appeals and rulings by the International Court of Justice demanding a halt to the aggression.
This genocide has resulted in over 182,000 killed and wounded, mostly women and children. More than 11,000 remain missing, and hundreds of thousands have been displaced, leading to famine that has caused countless deaths, including many children.
