Israeli forces beat up five youths in Nablus

NABLUS, June 10, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening brutally beat up five youths in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, inflicting wounds across their bodies, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

The PRCS said that its crews provided first aid treatment to five young men who sustained wounds due to being physically assaulted by the occupation soldiers in the city.

It added that the casualties were subsequently taken to hospitals for treatment.

Since the predawn hours of Tuesday, the occupation forces have been launching a wide-scale military aggression in the heart of Nablus, in what local sources describe as the largest such incursion in more than two years.

The occupation forces opened fire at Palestinians, including a paramedic, deployed tear gas, arrested several individuals, and violently raided homes during the ongoing aggression.

Earlier today, the gun-toting soldiers had fired live ammunition at two Palestinians, including a paramedic, injuring them. Ambulances were blocked from reaching them.

There were cases of tear gas inhalation as the occupying forces fired tear gas bombs at houses in the alleys of the Old City, a densely populated area.

Israeli officers announced a curfew via loudspeakers, ordering residents to remain indoors until Wednesday morning - the first such measure imposed in Nablus since the Second Intifada in 2000, raising fear among residents that it may lead to a prolonged and devastating aggression similar to those taking place in Tulkarm and Jenin.
