NABLUS, June 9, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists have issued threats to demolish more than 20 homes in the Palestinian village of Lubban al-Sharqiya, located along the main road connecting the cities of Nablus and Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

Late Sunday evening, colonists circulated calls on social media platforms urging the Israeli army to carry out the demolition of homes and infrastructure along the main street of the village. These calls also included plans to stage daily demonstrations at 7:30 p.m. at the village’s main entrance.

According to the calls shared online, the protests will include the performance of Talmudic rituals and the complete closure of the village until the demolitions are executed.

The colonists’ messages also incited against the village and its residents, with a particular focus on the schools situated along the main road.

It is worth noting that Israeli colonists have blocked the entrance to Lubban al-Sharqiya seven times in the past 12 days, heightening tensions and severely impacting the daily lives of its residents.

Lubban al-Sharqiya has long been a target of harassment and pressure by settlers due to its strategic location and proximity to major Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.
