RAMALLAH, June 6, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth on Friday evening sustained an injury from Israeli army gunfire in the village of Dura al-Qar', northeast of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to security sources.
They said that the occupying forces stormed the village, and opened live ammunition, hitting a 24-year-old young man.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that its crews provided first aid treatment to the young man, who sustained an injury in the thigh, and transported him to a hospital.
The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.
Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
