Israeli forces besiege house, detain four brothers from northern West Bank town

JENIN, June 6, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces at the dawn of Friday besieged a house and detained four brothers from the town of Siris, south of the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, according to a resident.

The detainees’ mother said that the occupation forces barged their way into the town, surrounded the house, and opened fire at one of her sons, identified as Ahmad Naim Qtait, injuring him in the waist and hand, and injuring another son, Qusai, in the foot.

She added that the gun-toting soldiers detained Ahmad and Qusai along with her two other sons, Odai and Mohammad.

On the evening of Thursday, special Israeli forces sneaked their way into the town and besieged the house, fired live ammunition at it, and prevented ambulance crews from reaching it.

Additional military reinforcements were dispatched to the town via the Ya’bad/Mevo Dotan checkpoint as fighter jets flew above the town.
