Several civilians killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes on different areas in Gaza

GAZA, June 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians were killed and others injured on Thursday as Israeli forces intensified attacks across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to local correspondents, Suleiman Raafat Suleiman Al-Breem, along with Mo’men and Fayez Suleiman Al-Abed Al-Breem, were killed in an Israeli strike on the Ramida area of Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis. In a separate artillery attack on Batin Al-Samin, southwest of Khan Younis, Mohammad Nemer Abu Samhadana was also killed.

Another Palestinian, Ashour Awni Abdeen, was shot dead by Israeli forces in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, while Ahmad Al-Alawi succumbed to injuries sustained in a previous Israeli strike near the Finance Junction in Tel Al-Hawa, southern Gaza City.

Meanwhile, rescue teams recovered the bodies of four Palestinians from the Al-Atatra area in northern Gaza’s Beit Lahiya. The victims were identified as: Mo’tasem Khamees Al-Attar, Ahed Mohammad Al-Attar, Mossad Abdelhadi Al-Attar, and Ahmad Abdulrabbo Al-Attar.

In central Gaza, a child was injured when Israeli military vehicles opened fire at the entrance of Al-Bureij refugee camp. Israeli artillery also bombarded the Al-Katiba area in northern Khan Younis.

Additionally, Israeli forces opened fire on civilians attempting to reach a humanitarian aid distribution point near the Wadi Gaza bridge.

Since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, Israeli attacks have killed at least 54,677 Palestinians—most of them women and children—and injured over 125,530. The actual death toll is expected to be significantly higher, as many victims remain trapped under rubble or are unreachable due to ongoing military operations.
