Four Palestinians killed in Israeli shelling on Khan Younis

RAMALLAH, June 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Four Palestinians were killed on Thursday evening in an Israeli artillery strike targeting an area northwest of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondent reported that the shelling struck a group of civilians on “Street 5” in the Al-Amal neighborhood, resulting in the death of four people.

The latest attack comes amid the ongoing Israeli military assault on the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, 2023. According to Palestinian health authorities, the offensive has so far killed at least 54,677 people—most of them women and children—and injured over 125,530 others.

The actual death toll is believed to be higher, as many victims remain trapped under rubble or lie in areas inaccessible to emergency crews due to the intensity of the bombardment.
