JENIN, June 3, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces assaulted on Tuesday evening a Palestinian man from the town of Barta’a, north of Jenin, according to official sources.
According to the Barta’a Municipality, Israeli soldiers stopped 43-year-old Mansour Mohammad Qabaha while he was crossing the Barta’a military checkpoint. After detaining him and searching his vehicle, soldiers proceeded to physically assault him.
The municipality condemned the repeated violations at the Barta’a checkpoint, stating that the occupation forces have turned it into a site of harassment and deliberate delays, as part of broader efforts to restrict and pressure local residents.
