BETHLEHEM, June 2, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Monday evening stormed the village of Khalayel al-Louz, southeast of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, according to security sources.
They said that colonists barged their way into Khalayel al-Louz, also known as Khallet al-Louz, and gathered near a villager’s house, spreading panic.
The village has become the target of frequent assaults by Israeli colonists and occupation forces, the most recent of which was the demolition of a house and a sheep barn.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
