GAZA, June 1, 2025 (WAFA) – At least one Palestinian was killed and several others were injured on Sunday evening following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a group of civilians in Gaza City, according to local sources.

Medical teams also recovered the body of a slain Palestinian from the Be’er al-Na’jeh area in northern Gaza.

Meanwhile, Israeli artillery carried out heavy shelling on the southeastern outskirts of the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

The attack is part of an ongoing Israeli military campaign that began on October 7, 2023. According to the latest figures, the offensive has killed at least 54,418 Palestinians—most of them women and children—and injured 124,190 others.

Hundreds of victims are still trapped under rubble or in areas unreachable by emergency crews.
