JERUSALEM, June 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli municipal crews imposed financial fines today on Palestinian-owned vehicles in the occupied Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan, according to local sources.
The sources reported that crews from the Israeli-run Jerusalem municipality raided the Bir Ayoub district in Silwan and issued fines targeting local residents' vehicles.
The move is seen as part of the ongoing pressure and harassment of Palestinian residents in occupied East Jerusalem, especially in areas surrounding the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
