JERICHO, May 31, 2025 (WAFA) – Two Palestinian youths were injured on Saturday evening by Israeli occupation forces east of Jericho in the occupied West Bank—one by live gunfire and another as a result of physical assault.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, its teams responded to two injuries near the al-Mashrou area east of the city. One of the victims sustained a live bullet wound, while the other suffered a head injury due to beating. Both were transferred to hospital for treatment.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces had set up a military checkpoint east of Jericho, where they opened live fire at civilians and assaulted several others.
