TUBAS, May 31, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Saturday threatened a Palestinian resident in Khirbet Yarza, a village located east of Tubas in the northern West Bank, with the demolition of all his residential tents if he does not dismantle one recently erected shelter himself.
According to Mukhless Masaeed, head of the Khirbet Yarza village council, Israeli forces issued a verbal notice to resident Mohammad Ali Masaeed, ordering him to remove the tent he built a few days ago to house his family. The forces warned that failure to comply would result in the destruction of all his existing structures.
The warning is part of ongoing pressure on Palestinian communities in Area C of the occupied West Bank, where Israeli authorities frequently demolish homes and infrastructure under the pretext of lacking permits, which are rarely granted to Palestinians.
