GAZA, May 31, 2025 (WAFA) – Seven Palestinians, including an entire family, were killed on Saturday in Israeli airstrikes targeting Gaza City and the city of Khan Younis, according to local sources.
WAFA correspondent reported that a father, Arafat Deeb, his wife, and their three children were killed when Israeli warplanes bombed their tent near Omar Mosque in the Al-Shanti area of Gaza City.
In a separate attack, one person was killed and several others injured in an airstrike on the Safi neighborhood in the As-Sikka area of central Khan Yunis.
Meanwhile, rescue teams recovered the body of another victim following an Israeli strike on Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 54,321 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 123,770 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
