DAMASCUS, May 31, 2025 (WAFA) – A Syrian citizen was killed and three others were injured late Saturday night following Israeli airstrikes targeting areas in the provinces of Latakia and Tartous, according to Syria’s state news agency SANA.
The air raids reportedly struck the vicinity of the villages of Zama and Burj Islam in Latakia province. The attack resulted in one fatality, multiple injuries, and significant material damage.
SANA also reported that the Israeli strikes targeted areas near the Tartous port, causing further destruction.
