SALFIT, May 29, 2025 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists erected a tent and placed a mobile home today on Palestinian-owned land in the Al-Balatah area, north of the town of Bruqin in the central West Bank province of Salfit, according to local sources.

Amin Sabrah, the head of Bruqin Municipality, reported that the colonists returned to the same site where a tent had previously been set up a few weeks ago next to Palestinian homes. That tent was later removed following local protests.

Sabrah added that the colonists have been circulating calls through their social media pages and group networks, urging for an attack on the town—an alarming development that raises fears of a serious escalation and potential violence against residents and their property.

Simultaneously, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town and were deployed in several areas, coinciding with the installation of the tent and the caravan.
