Occupation forces besiege house near Nablus, abduct Palestinian

NABLUS, May 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday evening besieged a house and abducted a Palestinian from the Beit Iba town, west of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.

They said that Israeli special forces sneaked their way into the town, and together with uniformed occupation forces, they surrounded a house in the town, and opened live ammunition toward it.

The forces eventually abducted a young Palestinian man.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
