JERUSALEM, May 28, 2025 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces today demolished a Palestinian home in the town of Beit Hanina, north of occupied Jerusalem, forcibly displacing a family of five.

The homeowner, Nour Tawtah, stated that he had constructed the 80-square-meter house on his privately owned land five years ago, where he resided with his wife and children. He expressed shock at the sudden arrival of Israeli forces who demolished the property without prior warning, despite the absence of any formal demolition order.

Tawtah explained that he had previously received a notice concerning unlicensed construction and had already initiated legal procedures to rectify the building’s status. Nevertheless, Israeli forces unexpectedly appeared in the early morning and proceeded with the demolition without issuing any advance notice.
