MOSCOW, February 11, 2025 (WAFA) – The Russian Foreign Ministry reaffirmed its support for resolving the Middle East conflict through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov emphasized Moscow's commitment to efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability in the region.
"Russia supports any initiatives to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and to ensure stability in the Middle East through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state," Bogdanov stated. He also highlighted that a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip could pave the way for renewed negotiations.
